This study aimed to evaluate how acromegaly can affect the lower limbs of patients participating in the research. The results point to the presence of podopathies such as onychogryphosis, onychocryptosis, apparent mycosis, hyperhidrosis, bromhidrosis, in addition to the report of pain arising from arthralgias. In the evidence of the foot disorders found, the role of the podiatrist can be attributed to taking care of foot disorders developed from acromegaly, assisting in the treatment of the underlying disease, and providing guidance on best practices for foo thealth in order to obtain better quality of life care.
